Get paid just by blogging?

Advertise on blogs

Sitting down in front of my laptop, sipping my daily doses of sweet black coffee, got me thinking. How does blog advertising work?  Is it hard to do? Do you have to look for companies who want to advertise their product in order for you to blog or vice versa?

As everyone may have known by now, blogs are written by real people with real life experience. They pour their thoughts, ideas, feelings, suggestion, into blog by expressing themselves through writing for the public consumption. For most blogger out there, they are doing it just for the fun of it. But what if you get paid to post a blog?

Companies who would like to have their products or services to be reviewed and advertised would have to engage an advertising company to do that. This advertising company in return, would engage bloggers who have register their blog earlier on to do the review and post it on their blog.

Reviews that get published on the blog, would later be paid by the advertiser. There’s no catch to it really. Bloggers are making extra income at their own pace by doing the review and advertiser would get a permanent link to the specific review for companies. It’s as simple as that!

But if you are not interested in doing review on your blog, you can always opt for affiliation programme.  With this programme, a blogger get paid whenever someone click on the affiliation link and register. For each registration blogger would get USD 15. How cool is that?

So, do you want to get paid blogging?

The Geek

A so called geek who resides at North Borneo, in a not so little city anymore, formerly known as Api-Api to the locals, Jesselton to the colonialist. This geek is a Civil Engineer by profession, who have lots of ideas popping up while traveling, who will write whatever popped up in his mind and hopping the reader would not be so judgmental toward his writings. This geek is also a computer & internet junkie who love outdoor, which is pretty much contradicting to each other doesn’t it? This geek is good at almost everything but a master of none (read about this somewhere). People may perceive him as a very quiet, describe as phlegmatic person, yet he is quite a chatterbox to those whom he is really close or comfortable with. This geek thinks anime chicks are way cooler than a real chick hence why he also likes to watch it (not the chicks, but the anime). Not to be mistaken as watching a cartoon, anime to this geek and to most of anime follower are animation that are created and produce by the Japanese.

actually you can. there are seweral ways of monetizing your blog, which are pay-per-click, pay-per-impression or pay-per-action. if you can attract enough traffic into your blog, you get paid even more 😀

it’s hard to get more readers unless you really got juicy stories. it’s not bad to get paid while writing your stories. but still up to the person if s/he wanted it or not.

so far socialspark.com is my fave for getting paid posts.. ada juga banyak yg lain seperti smorty, bloggerwave, buyblogreviews, etc..but most of them it’s like you have to bid to get the ‘job’. socialspark kalau open and your blog is qualified, then you can directly take the post. Any other good paying sites that you can across?

Well for a start, I blog to get paid. And they did pay you for that. I do earn a decent amount from them. Not bragging but I can say since I started to affiliates with them (that is around two years ago), I can say I already earn abut USD700 from them. Not bad for a person who got few unproductive hour *grin* in their working hour. since giuk.net are down, I become lazy to do any quality post. But now, they are up again, I have the “semangat” to do all the post again.

Can. But avoid PayPerPost. Google don’t like them. Since you need the PageRank to get more opportunity, just avoid them.
