Mother’s love at its best!

I woke up late last Saturday from staying up late with a few friends, waiting for a clear full moon to re-energize a few crystals. Yeah, I have a spacecraft parked at my back yard, going to fly off to Mars after my sister’s wedding end of this month. It’s getting dustier so I thought I take it for a spin.

*krik* *krik* *krik* *krik*

But seriously, we did go out to re-energize some crystals. As soon as I woke up, my mom gave two bottles of Bleu mineral water. I was really puzzled by this. Asked mom what’s it’s for? It’s to get back my semangat or zeal or zest or spirit; call it whatever you want, that was brought along by late Erlinna, my mom replied.

Can you imagine that? Mother’s love at its best. She went all the trouble to seek help for her eldest son. I never told her what I’m going through as far as I remember. I remember a few years back when my uncle just suddenly passed away, she went all the trouble to get the whole family some sort of amulet to protect us from harm. I think I still have it. Never really believe in it but because mom gave it to us, I guess there’s no harm in carrying it everywhere I go. Thanks mom, I’ll finish up drinking the water before this coming Friday. Happy Mother’s Day again.

Speaking of Friday, starting from this coming Friday, 15th May 2009 until 17th May 2009, I’ll be busy with Borneo Downhill Challenge 2009 held at Bukit Padang. So expect some traffic congestion on that particular area. I volunteered as one of the Race Marshal during the event. We Marshal also went for basic First Aid training just for the event. I think I need to re-take the test. My First Aid certificate expired back in 1996 hahaha. Again, this is why I really love going there.

Now that’s Bukit Padang Downhill Challenge 2009 trail. Looks fun huh? Care to see the event? There’s also live local band performance during the race event.

The Geek

A so called geek who resides at North Borneo, in a not so little city anymore, formerly known as Api-Api to the locals, Jesselton to the colonialist. This geek is a Civil Engineer by profession, who have lots of ideas popping up while traveling, who will write whatever popped up in his mind and hopping the reader would not be so judgmental toward his writings. This geek is also a computer & internet junkie who love outdoor, which is pretty much contradicting to each other doesn’t it? This geek is good at almost everything but a master of none (read about this somewhere). People may perceive him as a very quiet, describe as phlegmatic person, yet he is quite a chatterbox to those whom he is really close or comfortable with. This geek thinks anime chicks are way cooler than a real chick hence why he also likes to watch it (not the chicks, but the anime). Not to be mistaken as watching a cartoon, anime to this geek and to most of anime follower are animation that are created and produce by the Japanese.
